Sutton Foster may play a 20-something on the hit TV show Younger, but that doesn’t mean she has an extreme skincare regime.
In fact, the actress abides by a very straightforward beauty routine, and in a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, explained that her evening ritual is centred around cleansing and moisturising her face. Read on for some top takeaways from Sutton’s tutorial.
Carefully remove all eye make-up
At the end of the day, Sutton spends a few minutes taking off all of her eye make-up with the Chantecaille Rose Eye Makeup Remover.
“I’m a huge fan of Chantecaille. The products are incredibly gentle and fabulous. Especially with the eyes, I don’t know, I feel like being as gentle as possible with them is (important),” she shared.
Pile on the hydration
Next up, the Broadway star uses the Avène Micellar Lotion to remove every last scrap of foundation and concealer.
“My skin tends to be dry and sensitive. I have a bit of rosacea (on my cheeks) that kind of flares up. So, I try to use as many hydrating things as possible,” the 46-year-old smiled, before adding: “I can’t go to bed with make-up on. You know there’s people who go to bed with make-up, it freaks me out!”
Invest in a quality moisturiser
To complete her routine, Sutton applies a decent drop of iS Clinical Sheald Recovery Balm to her entire face before gently massaging the product in.
“This is a fabulous product for anyone who has sensitive skin. Especially when I’m having to wear a lot of make-up or go in and out of make-up my skin gets more irritated – so this is a wonderful, calming product,” she added.
