Susanna Reid was left stunned when Bill Turnbull made a cheeky joke as they reunited on Good Morning Britain on Monday.
At the top of Monday's show, the 65-year-old TV presenter, who previously co-hosted BBC Breakfast with Susanna until she left in 2014 for ITV, revealed to Charlotte Hawkins and Susanna that he only had four hours' sleep before he had to get up for work because a takeaway delivery turned up very late, and made the cheeky joke when he spoke about doing his daily morning yoga session, despite the early wake-up call.
"Always on the first night back on an early I never sleep properly anyway," he said. "I got up early and did my yoga. I've always done that. Get the blood flowing, downward dog and all that.
"We can have a go later, Susanna. There's plenty of space here on the floor. Before we finish on Wednesday, we should do a session on the floor. I mean, of yoga... sorry about that."
Laughter could be heard from the crew in the studio as a stunned Susanna said, "Steady on Bill Turnbull."
He then quipped, "We have known each other a long time, but not that well."
Bill, who previously guest presented Good Morning Britain in February last year, will be co-hosting with Susanna until Wednesday.
Good Morning Britain have been hiring guest presenters to front the show with Susanna ever since her co-host Piers Morgan quit the show in March after receiving backlash for comments he made about Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
