Surprise! The 2020 John Lewis Christmas advert is officially here, giving you the perfect excuse to deck the halls with boughs of holly.
We don't know about you lot, but festivities have already started in our house. Whether it's the Christmas decorations, the fairy lights or the door wreaths, we are all over it this year, and are trying to make Christmas as long and as happy as possible.
And it looks like John Lewis are right there with us, revealing their Christmas advert for 2020 today [13 November], which is all about giving a little bit of love.
'We believe that the world would be a better place if we all gave a little more love,' the description reads. 'So this year we're celebrating kindness, whether large or small, showing how each and every act of love has a positive impact on the world around us, as we pass them on to others.'
The video starts with a little boy whose ball is stuck in a tree, with a little girl who helps him get it out. The characters then move into animation, and the trailer watches people (and snowmen!) helping each other out and giving a little bit of love.
Overall, the message and trailer has gone down well on Twitter. 'THE TWO ON THE BUS OH MY HEART!' one person wrote, while another added, 'OKAY well now I’m crying thanks #johnlewischristmasadvert'
Someone else put, 'Lovely message.' and a fourth wrote, 'Aww loving the 2020 John Lewis Christmas Ad, and such a beautiful song.'
Another lovely advert ❤️ well done all. Now it’s begging to feel like Christmas... 🎄 #JohnLewisChristmasAdvert

Who sings the John Lewis Christmas advert song?
The song in question is an original (the first time the supermarket hasn't opted for a cover) by Celeste, called 'Give A Little Love'.
Speaking about the ad, she enthused: "Every year when the John Lewis and Waitrose Christmas advert comes out it’s always this big moment, everyone is like waiting to see what it is going to look like and wants to know who’s singing the song. Yeh, I just felt really honoured immediately."
The advert is aiming to raise £4million for charities Home-Start and FareShare.
Sadly, it doesn't look like Captain Tom Moore makes an appearance as previously thought, but many have speculated that the message 'Give A Little Love' written in the sky with smoke the smoke plumes from a World War II spitfire, is a homage to him. Sweet.
