Everyone knows awards season is cringe season - and that's even before you throw the virtual element into the mix. Despite this year's Golden Globes looking very different from years gone by, it was still a memorable affair. The Crown cleaned up, Chadwick Boseman won posthumously for his role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Chloe Zhao made history, and so many celebs pulled out their fashion A-game.

But, with it being a live broadcast and celebs being celebs, there were also plenty of unscripted hiccups. From the technical glitches to the Jason Sudeikis memes, here are nine awkward moments you might have missed.

Catherine O'Hara's chaotic acceptance speech

The actor won the award for lead actress in a musical or comedy series for Schitt’s Creek and her husband, production designer Bo Welch, tried to recreate some of the real-life ceremony atmosphere by playing painfully loud music from his phone.

Basically every single Zoom outro

Just before an ad came on, the cameras would cut to the stars chatting away from wherever they were in the world. With people talking over each other and some mics muted, it was hellishly awkward.
