Good news, toastie lovers! Subway has announced it's expanding its range of hot pressed SubMelts – and we couldn't be more excited. Until now, the SubMelts were only available in selected stores, but after a very successful trial period, are now being rolled out in nearly 500 stores across the UK and Ireland. Result.
And that’s not all. They’ll also be adding four new flavours to their line-up. So, without further ado, here’s what you have to look forward to on your lunch break:
The Big Cheese-Steak: a play on the Philadelphia classic. Packed with Philly-style beefsteak, mozzarella, American cheese, caramelised red onions, peppers, and topped with Subway’s chipotle southwest sauce.
The Supremo: perfect for veggies, the Supremo comes filled with mozzarella and American cheese, pesto, peppers, black pepper and Subway’s marinara sauce.
Pizziola B.M.T: A pizza-sub hybrid, The Pizziola B.M.T. is one for the meat lovers, stacked with pepperoni, ham, salami, as well as mozzarella, American-style cheese, peppers, red onions and marinara sauce.
V.I.Brie: And finally, available for a limited time only, is the V.I.Brie is French. Think: creamy Brie, American cheese, maple smoked streaky bacon, caramelised red onions, and sweet onion sauce. Bon appétit!
Let’s face it, if anything is going to get us through a long, cold winter, it’s plenty of melted cheese.
Available in-store now, the SubMelts are available as a 6-inch or footlong, and can be purchased as part of a meal deal (who could say no to a Subway cookie?).
