Strictly Come Dancing star Stacey Dooley has shared an update on her baby girl, revealing her full name.

Dooley welcomed her first child back in January 2023 with her Strictly boyfriend Kevin Clifton.

At the time she took to Instagram to confirm her daughter is called 'Minnie' and described her as a "little masterpiece".

Now, the TV presenter has gone one step further by also unveiling her baby’s surname.

In a special International Women’s Day post on her Instagram Stories, Dooley paid tribute to her daughter and confirmed Minnie shares her last name but not Clifton’s.

"Mummy’s gift to Minnie this IWD. Our leading lady," she posted, alongside a photo of a floral card with the name "Minnie Dooley" written on the front.

The image also featured her gift to Minnie, which appeared to be a beaded necklace displaying the letters "BFF".

Clifton and Dooley famously met in 2018 on the 16th season of Strictly Come Dancing.

The couple were partnered together on the BBC celebrity dance competition and went on to win the season, lifting the iconic Glitterball Trophy.

The pair later confirmed they’d formed a romantic relationship and in August 2022 announced they were expecting a baby.

However, Clifton and Dooley aren’t the only Strictly stars with recent baby news.

Strictly professionals Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec last month revealed they are expecting their first child together.

Similarly, Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Márquez made an announcement at the start of the year, telling fans they’ve got another baby on the way.

Gemma and Gorka, who met on the BBC dance show, already have a little girl named Mia who was welcomed to the world back in 2019.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two will air on weeknights later this year on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
