Strictly Come Dancing's Rose Ayling-Ellis has shared a seriously sweet first picture of her dancing in the wake of her taking home the glitterball trophy.

Of course, the EastEnders star and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice won the competition earlier this month after a slew of stunning dances, including making history when they brought attention to the Deaf community by performing to a song that was silent in parts.

But it looks like the actress's bite from the dancing bug (figuratively, of course) is still very much with her, as she showed off her best Dirty Dancing-esque lift on Instagram on Tuesday (December 28).

"Strictly you're still not out of my system," she wrote in the caption alongside a crying laughing emoji, with the snap showing her being lifted by a man (who appeared to be her brother Jacob) as he pressed her up over his head during a trip to the beach.

Though it wasn't her Strictly dance partner Giovanni in the snap, it seems like the pro wasn't too jealous to see Rose dancing with someone else so soon after the finale. The dancer shared his praise for her moves in the comments section, writing: "Well done!!!!" alongside three smiley faces surrounded by love hearts.

Her fellow contestant AJ Odudu was also impressed, as she commented on the snap with a crying laughing face and three red hearts.

Earlier this month, the ever sweet Rose took to Instagram to give a special shoutout to all those who work on the show. She shared several photos taken backstage alongside the caption: "Thank you for making sure that everything was accessible for me so that I could focus on my dancing and my strictly journey without worrying about how I would communicate.

"I felt that I could 100% be myself because of this and for that I am eternally grateful."

She continued: "Thank you to my team of interpreters who always put me first and made sure I understood everything at all times, they are such a beautiful group of women! Every person on Strictly works so hard to bring the show together and they are THE most creative people," adding she was "in awe" of the Strictly crew.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
