Rose Ayling-Ellis is still keeping up with her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.

This past year's winning duo frequently post on each other's social media accounts whenever they have an important update — this week, Giovanni set the Gram on fire with a shirtless photo.

After posing in only a pair of white swimming trunks, many fans shared hilarious emojis and one weighed in with this tongue-in-cheek message: "This is an urgent appeal to anyone who may have information about how @giovannipernice lost his clothes. Let's help @giovannipernice get his clothes back. #HelpGiovanniGetHisClothesBack."

Rose Ayling-Ellis loved that particular comment, responding to the humorous post by calling it the "best" message and sharing several laugh-crying face emojis.

The dancing pair most recently reunited on-screen this past spring on the BBC's charity telethon Red Nose Day to perform Ellie Goulding's 'How Long Will I Love You?' from the Strictly semi-final.

At the time, Rose shared with Red Nose Day presenter Sir Lenny Henry that she was thrilled to be reuniting with Giovanni for such an important cause.

"It's really nice to dance together again," Rose told Lenny. "We went through a really special journey. Every time we pair up, it brings back happy memories. We really enjoy dancing together."

They seem to enjoy teasing each other quite a bit, too!

The duo won the Strictly Come Dancing finals in December, following a 13-week journey where Rose inspired the nation with her tremendous dedication and heartfelt bond with Giovanni.

Last month, Giovanni sent a beautiful message to Rose on social media where he encouraged his former dance partner to "be proud" of everything she has accomplished in campaigning for British Sign Language to be legally recognised as its own language.

Strictly Come Dancing will be returning for its 20th series on BBC One later this year.
