Strictly's Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal reveal secret 'code' to communicate as they put on cosy display
Strictly Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal have opened up about their ‘secret code’ they use to communicate as they appeared on Pete and Sam Thompson’s Staying Relevant podcast shortly after the first live show.
The dance couple looked cosy as they sat close on the podcast sofa, gazing into each other’s eyes, as they confessed they knew exactly what each other was thinking just by looking at each other, leaving Pete’s bestie Sam jokingly trying to deny his jealousy at the pair’s new bond. Before the live shows kicked off, Pete and Jowita sparked ‘romance rumours’ as they were reportedly seen ‘getting cosy’ at the National Television Awards.
The pair continued to ‘fuel rumours’ on the podcast, as Jowita, who stunned in Pete’s yellow waistcoat explained her reasoning for her outfit choice. “You know why I put it on first of all,” she told the TOWIE star, before questioning what he called her. Pete’s first guess “little pocket rocket” wasn’t correct, but was enough for Sam to showcase a tinge of jealously yet again.

Jowita then went on to confirm that Pete had called her his “little ray of sunshine” as she proceeded to rest her head on Pete’s shoulder. The Strictly professional then went on to tell Sam, “We’ve got a code. Sometimes we don’t need to speak, we just look at each other and we know.”
It comes after the duo were all smiles on the spin off show, It Takes Two, once again adding fuel to the fire of romance rumours with their undeniable chemistry. Speaking on their growing bond with host and ex-Strictly pro Janette Manrara, Pete shared: "I am absolutely loving it and I never thought I would be because I didn't think this was really my thing. I'm not a dancer."
"I don't think I have rhythm. But what I am loving is the whole learning experience and the bit that is most exciting for me, in the rehearsal room with Jowita. It's my favourite bit because I'm a bit geeky and I love to learn something that's really and utterly new to me, it makes me really happy," he continued, before expressing: "And she makes me really happy every day."
Despite the pair’s undeniable chemistry on and off the dance floor, the TOWIE star looked gutted during the first live show on Saturday, when the pair were awarded a score of just 17, with Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke giving them 5’s.
