Strictly Come Dancing competitor Adam Thomas has another TV commitment keeping him from ballroom training.
Over on Instagram Stories this week, the actor photographed himself on the set of Waterloo Road (in which he plays Donte Charles), writing: "Missing a days training today... but it's all worth it. Work is work! Let's go Donte!!!"
In a follow-up selfie from the show's rainy schoolyard set, Thomas joked: "All I want to do is learn the tango!! [three laughing emojis]."
After one week of Strictly partnered up with pro Luba Mushtuk, Thomas sits in 12th place on the leaderboard with 19 points.
Meanwhile, chatting to Digital Spy and other press earlier this month, the star joked about his eternal connection to the show, seemingly being cast every year.
"Every f**king year!" he laughed. "I'm like, take the hint, guys! The papers were going, 'Adam's doing Strictly this year', and I'm like, 'Am I?!'
"Because I'd been putting it out there for so many years, when they actually asked me to do it, I was like, 'I don't know if I want to do it now'.
"But I'm so happy that I did, because it's one of those shows I’ve always wanted to do."
The former Emmerdale man added: "It's completely different to every other show I do, because this is a show where you get to learn how to dance. It's a completely different experience and I'm enjoying it so far anyway.
"This lot are amazing, and the professional dancers. Everyone."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
