There was mass outrage amongst Strictly fans Sunday night when shamed couple Seann and Katya were saved from elimination. This came after a poorly marked performance and of course the couple’s embarrassing kissing scandal.
And now it looks like Strictly fans are in for a new shock, as week 6 Halloween themed songs and dances are revealed. Seann and Katya will be performing to a rather sultry – and considering their torrid history – controversial song.
The pair will perform the Viennese Waltz to Screamin’ Jay Hawkins ‘I Put a Spell On You.’ The classic 1956 song includes the lyrics ‘I put a spell on you. Because you’re mine’ and alludes to jealousy and even infidelity with the lyrics ‘You know I can’t stand it/Your running around/You know baby daddy/I can’t stand it/’Cause you put me down.’
The full dance and song list for week six are as follows:

The BBC have been accused of ‘fixing’ Katya and Seann to win the dance-off on Sunday night as an attempt to boost ratings. Eliminated contestant Vick Hope even alluded to the theory, and claims producers called in to talk to the judges just before the elimination took place.
BBC have responded to her claims with the following statement:
“It is categorically untrue to imply that producers tell the judges how to score or who to save,” read the statement.
“Each judge votes on each dance independently, based on its merits and in their expert opinion alone. The judges use an electronic voting pad to transmit their score or choice of who to save to the production gallery, which is then locked in and cannot be changed.
“Only after this does a producer speak to the judges, advising them on how long they have to speak and reminding them to give a reason for their decisions. The process was exactly the same this weekend.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One at 6.50pm.
