Strictly Come Dancing's Motsi Mabuse responds to fan fix theories

Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has responded to theories from fans claiming that the show appears to be fixed.

Speculation arose following last weekend's Halloween episode, where Motsi was made to choose between saving Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and his partner Katya Jones, or Loose Women presenter Judi Love and Graziano Di Prima in the dance off.

Explaining her decision, Motsi told viewers, "I have to say that dance-off was really great, it was great to watch both couples dancing on the dancefloor. The decision was made for me and so I have to say that the couple that I will be saving is Adam and Katya."

Motsi's use of the words "the decision was made" led some viewers to form theories claiming that the show is fixed or that decisions have been "made" by producers prior to the show airing.

However, Motsi has been quick to set the record straight, taking to Twitter to dispel any speculation.

Responding to a tweet from fan saying Motsi "will come to regret saying 'the decision was made for me...' when she realises that some people will probably take that literally," the judge gave her version of events.

Explaining her decision to vote Judi and Graziano off, Motsi wrote, "💯!! What was So obvious to me, because the mistakes where [sic] so clear !!"

She then went on to suggest that fan speculation was simply "conspiracy theories", writing, "In times of some crazy conspiracy theories …….. lol".

We're glad Motsi's been clear on that one.
