Strictly Come Dancing's Motsi Mabuse Responds to Viewer Backlash after Final
Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse took to Twitter over the weekend to respond to viewer criticism that she wasn't happy for this season's winners – Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.
It all started after one unhappy viewer tweeted: '@MOTSI_MABUSE did not look happy with results, thank God judges did not get the voted [sic], best couple ever on @bbcstrictly love you @RoseAylingEllis @pernicegiovann1.'
Elsewhere on the social media platform, another Strictly viewer said: 'You can’t hide what you actually thought on Saturday Misti [sic]! Yr [sic] expression said it all. Super false eh!!!!'
Understandably, the comments didn't go down well with Motsi or her fans, who branded the criticism as harsh. Taking to Twitter herself, the 40-year-old replied: 'Even after such an emotional and fantastic final, people still will find a way for hate! Imagine sitting at [sic] the living room and interpreting this?? It’s a shame! Thank you for all the love and support I received they override this comment by the thousands.'

Motsi's fans quickly jumped to her defence, calling out the negative backlash she'd received after the final. 'You just looked emotional to me! You are the most positive and encouraging of all the judges! People always have to find something to moan about,' said one Strictly viewer, with another tweeting 'Ignore the haters Motsi. There are many miserable people out there that just love to moan and bring others down. You just continue to be fabulous.'
We love you Motsi!
