Strictly Come Dancing star declares 'we're getting married' in sudden announcement
Strictly sensation Montell Douglas playfully hinted at wedding bells with her dance partner as they geared up for their debut performance on the dazzling ballroom floor.
Strictly Come Dancing is back and better than ever for its 2024 extravaganza, following a launch show that absolutely brimmed with excitement. During the premiere week, the competing couples will take the stage for the very first time in hope of earning a coveted spot on the leaderboard based on their inaugural dance number.
The judges will unleash their critiques and the stars will rack up their initial scores, but there wont be any tearful goodbyes this week; the real drama is set to unfold in week two when the competition intensifies and one celeb waves goodbye to the dream for good.
Amongst the hopefuls is Montell, also known as Gladiator Fire, who, along with Johannes Radebe, debuted a Foxtrot to Dinah Washington's seductive Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby, as they launched their bid to snag the Strictly crown.
However, before they dazzled the crowd with their footwork, host Claudia Winkleman couldn't help but admire their stunning ensembles and quickly dubbed the stylish duo "Mojo", reports the Mirror.

Elegantly clad in a lace-adorned, sheer gown, Montell exuded charm while Johannes captured attention in his sharp ensemble, featuring a crisp white shirt, a classy cream waistcoat, complemented by a matching tie, and smart pin-striped trousers.
With a cheeky sparkle in her eye, Montell quipped, "Well, we are getting married," sending waves of laughter through their fellow 'Strictly' stars and prompting Claudia to quip, "You're all invited."
The audience will have their chance to support their favourites when the voting lines swing open in week two on next Saturday (September 28), and brace themselves for the first heartbreaking farewell of the series come Sunday night (September 29).
Tonight's action started at 7pm on BBC One, but there won't be a results show this weekend.
Currently leading the betting odds are X Factor champ Shayne Ward and JLS star JB Gill. However, former pro dancer Erin Boag has tipped Miranda star Sarah Hadland as a potential dark horse.
