Strictly Come Dancing star Daisy Lowe announces she's pregnant with first child
Strictly Come Dancing star and fashion model Daisy Lowe has revealed she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Jordan Saul.
The star, who is best known for her work as a fashion model and for competing in 2016’s season of Strictly alongside pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec, shared the happy news with her fans on social media.
In a black-and-white Instagram post, Lowe shared a snap of herself highlighting her growing baby bump and another image showing her sonogram.
"I wanted to share some news with you- Jordan & I are having a baby," she captioned the post. "We are absolutely bursting at the seams with happiness. I’m oscillating wildly between excitement & nervousness with a dash of morning sickness thrown in for good measure! Big love to all of you."
Upon hearing the news, friends, family and fans quickly flocked to the comments section to congratulate the model.
Several fellow Strictly stars shared their well wishes, with Stacey Dooley writing: "Delighted for you sweetheart."
"Congratulations baby girl! Best news!" Alexandra Burke said, with Laura Whitmore adding: "Congrats!"
Lowe later shared a video on her Instagram Stories where she thanked everyone for their kind comments.
"I just wanted to say the biggest thank you for all your gorgeous messages," she said. "I’m just very excited and I’m so happy I can finally share it with you guys. So, I can’t believe I’m going to be a mum. But really, it’s made us so happy and warmed our hearts so much so thank you."
This isn’t the only joyous news Lowe has shared recently as she announced her engagement on Instagram last month.
"I am officially your fiancé & I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you my hubby to be," Lowe wrote, alongside a photo of herself and Saul kissing in a woodland area.
