Strictly Come Dancing has announced HRVY as the 11th celebrity to join the 2020 line-up.

Full name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, the popstar has more than 2.7 million YouTube subscribers. He was confirmed on KISS Breakfast with Jordan & Perri this morning (September 4).

"Being on Strictly is going to be such an amazing experience, and I'm so thankful to be taking part this year," he said. "I think my mum is more excited that she'll be able to see me every Saturday night now."

HRVY's announcement comes after Jamie Laing, Maisie Smith, Bill Bailey, and JJ Chalmers were all unveiled yesterday. Jamie had been expected to feature in 2019, but was forced to withdraw following a foot injury.

Olympic and world champion boxer Nicola Adams has also been confirmed and will be part of the show's first-ever same-sex couple.

"It's definitely a time for change, it's definitely a time to move on and be more diverse, and this is a brilliant step in the right direction," she said on BBC Breakfast on Wednesday.

Ranvir Singh, Clara Amfo, Caroline Quentin, Jason Bell, Bill Bailey and Max George are the other celebrities in the line-up so far.

The Wanted's Jay McGuiness, who won the 2015 series, tweeted his support for bandmate Max, posting: "Max, show 'em what you're made of."

Strictly Come Dancing will return for an all-new series later this year on BBC One.
