Strava and Garmin Connect appear to be down
Both Strava and Garmin Connect appear to be down this afternoon, with runners struggling to log into both apps. Garmin Connect went down for a few days in July, however there was no indication users' data was affected by the outage.
As yet, neither Strava nor Garmin have commented on the service issues, but users have been sharing their issues on social media:

How long the apps will be down remains unclear, but either way, don't panic! Your running watch is able to hold a few days worth of activities on the watch itself, or you can manually download the activities to your computer and upload them once things are back up and running. To do this, plug your watch into your computer using a USB cable, browse for the activity directory, and download the day's .fit file. You can then manually upload this onto a third party app.
We will update this page with more information when we have it.
