To commemorate Pride Month, Strava have given all runners the chance to celebrate, by simply adding a rainbow emoji to the end of their run name. This in turn makes your run route all the colours of the rainbow.

Pride month runs from 1 June to 30 June. Across the globe, a number of different events recognise and celebrate the LGBT community. The June dates commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall riots - a series of demonstrations carried out by the LGBT community in 1969 against a police raid, in the Stonewall Inn in Manhattan, New York.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, this year the Pride of London annual parade and celebrations will not go ahead. Organisers have outlined a number of different virtual plans to celebrate Pride this year, including the You!Me!Us!We! campaign, which is aimed at driving real acts of support and allyship between communities.
