Stranger Things' Natalia Dyer on whether she'd do a Nancy Wheeler spin-off

Stranger Things season four is basically all we've been able to talk about for the past month, after part one was released at the end of May. Now that season four part two has landed on Netflix (side note: YAS), Natalia Dyer has revealed whether she'd ever do a Nancy Wheeler spin-off series.

Fans of the Netflix original have been reading into what the show might mean for the fate of their favourite characters. Will Steve Harrington have a future? Does Will Byers ever get to celebrate his birthday again? And what might happen in season five?

When we spoke to Natalia for our June/July cover interview, she touched on the fact Stranger Things will end with the next season, but stuttered over the kind of conclusion she’d like for Nancy.

"Personally, I hope she doesn’t die," she admitted. "But if she does, I hope it’s a good one. I’ve always been so curious about what her life would be like after all of this. The most interesting thing to me is not all of the big things, it always goes back to the characters ending up in a place that feels like a satisfying end to it all."

She giggled at the thought of a potential spin-off. "I wouldn’t write it off, if the [Stranger Things creators, the Duffer] brothers were involved. I’ve always had thoughts of Nancy becoming this detective type, cool spy, secret monster hunting…"

We can *totally* see Nancy having a show of her own, and we're keen to champion it.
