Millie Bobby Brown, the 20 year old star of Stranger Things, Enola Holmes and Netflix action movie Damsel, has reportedly tied the knot with her fiance of 14 months, model Jake Bongiovi. Jake is the 22 year old son of Jon Bon Jovi, the lead singer of rock band Bon Jovi.

The couple have been planning their wedding for a while, and the ceremony took place with Jake’s dad Jon and Millie’s parents in attendance according to a source. An insider told The Sun: “Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend. They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork. It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”

Millie and Jake announced their engagement in April 2023. The couple first met via Instagram before becoming friends in real life, and they started dating in June 2021. Earlier this year, Millie talked about their relationship and how Jake proposed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Basically, Jake and I bonded over diving. We love diving," she said. She then revealed that Jake insisted they do an 8am dive during a holiday. “He gives me, like, a shell and I, like, turn it over and it’s a ring,” she said, explaining that she had to reply with a thumbs-up as they were underwater.

Millie also talked about her wedding planning in an interview with Elle Magazine recently. "I have loved every second of it," she said. “It's been really an unbelievable journey. Every time we have a new wedding meeting, Jake and I take a picture to capture the moment of the planning process. He's loving every second of it. I haven't been met with a stressful time yet, and I think that's just a reflection on how ready and excited we are to do it.”

Following their three year anniversary, the couple also revealed that they had asked Millie's Stranger Things co-star, Matthew Modine, who plays "Papa" in the series, to officiate at their wedding.

It’s expected that Millie and Jake’s planning is for a larger, second wedding ceremony for more family members and friends and OK! reached out to Millie’s and Jake’s representatives for a comment on their wedding plans.

They wouldn’t be the first celebrity couple to have more than one wedding ceremony. George Clooney and his wife Amal got married in Venice and then had a second service in London a month later, while sports star Tom Brady and model Gisele Bundchen planned their wedding in two weeks and had a grander ceremony months later in Costa Rica.
