Stop What You're Doing: Wagamama Katsu Mayo Has Been Spotted In Tesco
We can never get enough Wagamama. Noodles, ramen, katsu curry, potstickers and beyond, it is, hands down, one of the most popular chains on the British high-street and it’s easy to see why. If you could eat Wagamama every day you probably would, right? We know we would (we basically do anyway...).
Everyone has their classic order (Bang Bang Cauliflower and a Chicken Katsu for me please), and now the flavour train is coming directly to your kitchen.
Wagamama has added two new products to their cook-at-home range, and just in time for BBQ season! The restaurant giant now offers Firecracker Mayo and Katsu Mayo, both spotted on Tesco shelves this week.
We first spotted the tempting duo on Kev's Snack Reviews on Instagram, who spied the sauces this week. Thanks, Kev!
But wait, that’s not the only the good news from our dear friends at Waggers. Not only are both new flavours packing some seriously iconic Wagamama flavour, but they're also both plant-based! Vegans and non-vegans rejoice for the gods have given us the gift of waga-magic!
The possibilities for these mayos are endless, but we're already daydreaming about some Chicken Burgers with Katsu Mayo and Pork Belly Bao Buns with Firecracker Mayo. A tofu burrito with a mix of both maybe? Push the boat out! You deserve it!
Mayo is a wildly versatile condiment and is definitely a household fridge staple, add it to burgers, potatoes, pasta salad and you’ve got a delicious dish. So, spiced with an iconic Wagamama flavouring can only make that better.
Rumour has it that this range is only going to extend even further, so what product do you want to see next? Katsu ketchup sounds like the stuff of DREAMS on a juicy hotdog.
