How to stop your thighs chafing in the heat
The sun has finally arrived and as a result, we're all feeling bloody hot. This isn't a complaint - god knows we've been stuck in the depths of winter for what feels like forever - but I'm just pointing out that when it gets a bit too hot, we end up traipsing around leaving a trail of sweat like some sort of sweltering Hansel and Gretel.
But dripping with sweat isn't the only frustrating side effect of a heat wave. For any woman who doesn't possess a thigh gap (so, lots of us) the usual friction between her upper legs only goes up a gear this time of year, with the film of sweat that covers her skin causing her thighs to stick together, leaving a big red rash in its wake. Chafing, you devil.
My thoughts right now: I'm so sweaty and now I'm chafing and why does life hate me?! Hey, UK could you calm down with the heat

Covered head to toe in sweat, with chafing thighs. I love the heat

But in this progressive 21st century age we're lucky enough to live through, we shouldn't be forced to settle for such discomfort. Which is why we thought we should share this pearl of wisdom courtesy on how to prevent the chafing woes so many people suffer this time of year.
While vaseline and talcum powder are old classics to prevent the rub, this one's new: use roll-on deodorant. The tip comes from Twitter user @poderosa, and it actually makes perfect sense.
Deodorant saves my life when it's hot af & wearing a dress...minimizes chafing and last longer than lotion/cream https://t.co/JKFNbE1P1e

The benefit of using roll-on deodorant over lotion, according to poderosa, is that it lasts so much longer, creating a slick layer covering your thighs and allowing them to slip past each other instead of rubbing like sandpaper. Plus, it's soothing af down there, which is v welcome in these sweaty times.
Now go, be free and enjoy the summer with your new found lubricated thighs.
