It's not that summer is over, it's just that we've been wearing a lot of hoodies recently, and best of all, we haven't shaved our legs for two weeks. Well, just when you thought life couldn't get any sweeter, Starbucks have announced that their Pumpkin Spice Latte will be back in our lives imminently, along with the return of the equally iconic PSL cookie. Basic b*tch season is back and we couldn't be happier about it.

Autumn officially starts on 23rd September, but you don't have to wait that long to get your first sip of Halloween in a cup, because the PSL will be returning to Starbucks from 2nd September. Oh, and if you happen to be a Starbucks Rewards member, you get early access.

And if all that wasn't enough, you can enjoy more than a PS latte this season with the return of Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Cookie and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino. Sorry, but if it isn't PS-something, we're simply not eating it.

Plus, ever since 2018 Starbucks' PSL has been entirely vegan friendly, after the brand switched to a dairy-free - but equally delicious - sauce. Just remember to switch up your milk and skip the cream (obvs). Our grid has never been so ready.

Alongside everything pumpkin spiced, Starbucks has a whole new autumn menu coming this season, including a S’mores Brownie Blondie - a blondie bar packed with marshmallows and almonds, covered in a slice of chocolate brownie, topped with a marshmallow, chocolate drizzle and speculoos crumb. You had us at marshmallows.

Since it launched in 2003, Starbucks has sold more than 200 million cups of PSL. Although things could have been very different if they stuck to their original 'Fall Harvest Latte' name for their iconic drink.

FHL, just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?
