Stacey Solomon has added a new member to her family - an adorable sausage dog named Peanut.

The Loose Women star shared a photo of her youngest son Rex cuddling their new puppy on the sofa as she introduced him to her friends and followers on Instagram.

"Welcome to our family little one," Stacey began in the caption. "Another little boy for us all to love. And we love you so very much. Sometimes things just happen for a reason and souls come in to our lives just when they’re meant to. We still haven’t worked out what your name is yet but we know you’ll let us know. We love you puppy."

To mark Valentine's Day, the TV presenter posted another picture of Rex, her dog Theo and puppy Peanut wearing matching heart-print pink onesies.

"Happy Valentine's Day lots of love from Theo, The Pickle and PEANUT," Stacey wrote. "The big boys won the name choice. Turns out you all thought peanut was perfect too. And so the adventures begin. Peanut and the Pickles. est 2021."

Fans and friends were loving the boys' matching pink outfits and, of course, the lovely Peanut.

"Ohhh myyyyy, cuteness overload!" one wrote.

Ruth Langford described the picture as "adorable", while another follower added: "The cutest little pickles I ever did see."

Stacey recently became engaged to partner Joe Swash, after he popped the question on Christmas Eve.

The former soap star revealed that they will probably marry soon, letting slip on Loose Women earlier this year: "To be fair, I didn't think we were going to get married so soon, I thought I would have a couple of years grace, but by all accounts we are going to get married in a few months… I think Stacey is really keen to do it this year, I am really keen as well because it has been a really tough year and I can’t wait for her to be my wife."

Fingers crossed Theo and Peanut will be the ring bearers!
