Stacey Solomon threw an adorable Moana-themed party for Rex’s second birthday

Stacey Solomon threw a Moana themed party for her youngest son Rex’s second birthday yesterday (24 May).

The Loose Women presenter shared a photo of herself holding the birthday boy in the Hawaiian decorated conservatory of the family's home. Dad Joe Swash grinned at the front of the photo in a home-made crab costume, as the character Tamatoa from Moana.

On her Instagram stories, Stacey revealed she had made Joe's costume herself by covering a bin lid in glitter to replicate Tamatoa’s shell.

Stacey decorated the conservatory with flowers, aloha stickers and balloons while the family also sang happy birthday to two-year-old Rex over a Moana cake with his name on it.

Sharing photos of the special day on her Instagram account, Stacey wished happy birthday to Rex, saying “Watching you grow every day, learn and develops into such a special human alongside your brothers is our biggest privilege. Every day your smile and joy just keeps us going.”

As well as all the Moana-themed fun, Rex had a special visit from ponies as Stacey said he was a big animal lover.

Stacey also thanked her followers for their well wishes adding, “Thank you everyone for your beautiful messages, stories and posts, they’ve had me ready all day. We love you all so so much.”

Fellow ITV presenter Ruth Langsford commented on the post saying “Happy Birthday Pickle!” while Nadia Sawalha added, “Oh Stace…you know I have no words” and Linda Robson said, “Happy 2nd birthday Rex.”
