Loose Women aired on Christmas Eve at 10am (24 December) for the first time in its 21-year history - during which Stacey Solomon revealed her very unusual Christmas morning tradition.
The festive extravaganza, hosted by Ruth Langsford, starred Stacey and Janet Street-Porter, as well as Brenda Edwards, who joined in the fun from her specially kitted-out garden shed. Coleen Nolan also starred and played dress up in her very own ‘Grotty Grotto’.
Speaking about the healthy Christmas tradition started by her mother, which she now continues on her own, Stacey explained: "This is going to sound really weird… my mum every Christmas morning used to cut a grapefruit in half, put some sugar on it and that was our breakfast.
"None of my kids will eat it, Joe won’t eat it, it’s not even that great but I just have to every single Christmas. I don’t eat grapefruit all year but on Christmas morning I sit there with my half a grapefruit and sugar and I really enjoy it."
Stacey recently captured a lovely photo of her children - Zachery, 11, seven-year-old Leighton and baby Rex playing together while being photobombed by their pet dog Theo next to her extravagant Christmas tree at their home in Essex.
"My heart," Stacey began in the caption. "I can’t stop laughing at this... All of my babies. I know it’s a really unsettling time at the moment. But I hope even if it’s just for a second this brings a smile to your face the way it did to mine. Love you all to the moon and back. It’s going on the wall."
Meanwhile, the Loose Women panel was also joined by special guest Jonathan Ross, who chatted to them about his Christmas traditions, why he wouldn’t take part in a reality show, and the new addition to his family.
Loose Women airs on weekdays on ITV.
