Stacey Solomon has shared the new homeware accessories she has bought after being inspired by Netflix's hit period drama Bridgerton.

The Loose Women star posted an Instagram Story revealing the new gold cutlery she purchased after watching the show - switching all her cutlery and other kitchen items from silver to gold.

"Let me just set the scene so I don't look like a complete weirdo," Stacey explained in her clip. "I'm changing my cutlery set from silver to gold because I've had it forever and I've been watching too much Bridgerton."

She added: "I saw this, it was cheap, dishwasher proof and I thought, 'Perfect, that's all I need, what more could I want?'"

Stacey also revealed that she has "washed, steamed, and packed up" all her silver cutlery to give to charity. She joked that she has hidden all of the silver knives, peels and gadgets in the draw below her luxe gold items until she can find them in gold.

Meanwhile, Stacey recently announced that she is launching a new book called Tap to Tidy which is a compilation of her Instagram Tap To Tidy methods, crafting hacks, recipes and craft designs that have become so popular amongst her followers and fans on social media.

"It's taken over my life for the last year. You all told me to go for it and so I did... I just hope it’s everything you thought it would be and I really hope I do you proud. Because the truth is if it wasn’t for you I would never have had the confidence to even do it," the star said in a post on Instagram.

"And I am so grateful for you all I can't even begin to put it into words. So here we go. I’m so nervous it’s a joke. This is for you. Love you to the moon and back, always Stace."

Tap to Tidy will be released on March 4th.
