Stacey Solomon is getting in the festive spirit with her latest Christmas craft project. The Loose Women presenter took to Instagram to show how to make homemade giant Christmas baubles and they look amazing.
Simple to recreate at home, Stacey took a range of children's plastic footballs and spray painted them red and cream. She then added gold glitter and finished by making holders out of gold card for the top.
Describing them as "so so pretty", she wrote: "Make giant baubles with me [...] I love these! They were super easy to make." She went on to confirm that she didn't ruin her floors with the spray paint, saying: "P.S Don’t worry I’m not spraying my tiles these are outdoor patio tiles that wash down super easy!."
Upon finishing, Stacey placed her sparkly new ornaments stacked up on a shelf in her home, Pickle Cottage, and the house looked ready for December to roll around already.
A true craft enthusiast, this latest art project comes ahead of her new show Craft You Own Christmas With Stacey Solomon which will air on the BBC. An hour-long show will see her transform a barn next to her house into a full Christmas grotto and host a festive party for her local community.
Speaking of the programme, Stacey said: “Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year. There's no better feeling than giving someone the perfect gift, especially when it's one I've made at home with my little helpers. DIY gifts mean so much more and save a bit of money too, as do hand-crafted decorations which we love making for our tree.
"I can't wait to share my Christmas gifting and decorating tips and tricks with everyone at home, helping make this Christmas extra special without breaking the bank.”
Craft You Own Christmas With Stacey Solomon will air on the BBC during the festive period.
