Stacey Solomon has revealed her baby girl's beautiful traditional name
Stacey Solomon has finally revealed the name of her new baby daughter, after recently telling fans the name had been decided. She and fiancé Joe Swash opted for a sweet, simple and traditional moniker for the new arrival, naming the little one Rose.
Rose was born on Stacey's birthday, (4 October) at their home Pickle Cottage, and her full name also features two middle names with important meanings.
Posting a sweet picture of baby Rose next to her namesake to Instagram on Tuesday, the Loose Women star told followers; "🌹Rose🌹 Opal Esmè Solomon-Swash. ♥️ Our beautiful flower - Our precious jewel - who is ever loved."
She continued in the caption; "It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our little Rose 🥺🌹 We feel so so lucky to have you here… " Going on to tell her followers; "Thank you all for your loveliness, your kindness and just being there at 3am for a chat it’s been the best. Love you all 🌹♥️"
The little one's gorgeous floral nursery should have been a clue that a flower name might be on the cards for the new arrival, and is a perfect choice for their new country home and lifestyle.
We can see a little rose shaped wax melt in the corner of the shot and even Stacey's jumper is dotted with little roses. Back at her baby shower the TV personality wore a Rapunzel style plait with pretty pink roses woven in.
Stacey admits they'd tried out a few names on the little one since she'd arrived, but it seems Rose has been on the cards for a while. Even if the roses through the pregnancy weren't deliberate clues to the name, it's clear it's a flower Stacey loves and had on her mind.
We think it's a gorgeous name!
