Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash announce exciting new reality TV show
We're so excited to hear that Stacey Solomon has thrown open the doors to Pickle Cottage for a new reality TV series.
The Sort Your Life Out star and her husband Joe Swash announced the new fly-on-the-wall show on their Instagram pages.
"We’ve been so nervous & excited to share this," the couple said. "In 2024 we opened up our home & made a series about our lives, family, work & everything in between. It was a huge leap into the unknown & it’s been an absolute whirlwind making it. But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more & do things we’d never done."
Filming for the series took place this summer and autumn and follows the couple and their blended family, including five of their children, plus four ducks and two dogs, with exclusive access to their home life together.
The BBC has said the series will show the couple as they celebrate their second wedding anniversary, revealing how they met and fell in love, other moments captured include Stacey winning big at the National Television Awards, as well as a family holiday to Turkey.
"This series offers a rare and intimate window as they navigate their way through the realities of raising a modern blended family," says Clare Sillery, Head of Commissioning, BBC Documentaries.
Charlotte Brookes, Head of Popular Factual at production company Optomen, adds: "Stacey and Joe have welcomed us into their home and trusted us with unprecedented access as they share the beautifully chaotic ups and downs of life in Pickle Cottage.”
