Stacey Solomon gives birth to baby daughter on 32nd birthday
Stacey Solomon received a special present on her 32nd birthday - she welcomed her baby daughter into the world.
The Loose Women presenter announced that her second child with actor Joe Swash arrived on Monday in an Instagram post on Tuesday night.
"She's Here (heart emoji) Born at Pickle Cottage on mummy's birthday. Our little girl... Happy birthday my darling daughter... We all love you more than you could ever imagine. Your brothers, your daddy and I are so in love. Thank you for the most incredible 9 months. Now we cannot wait for the rest of our lives with you...," she wrote in the caption beside a photo of the newborn being held by six different hands and other snaps of Stacey resting in bed at home breastfeeding as Joe looks on with pride.
In a series of Instagram Stories posts, the former X Factor star revealed that she went to the hospital on Monday morning as she woke up "feeling a little twingey" and wanted a check-up and then went home as the baby seemed "happy as Larry".
However, once she got back home, the baby "decided she was ready to meet us" so midwives came to her house with gas and air.
"Quickly regretted not staying in hospital and getting an epidural," she wrote alongside footage of Joe holding her as she experiences pain. The video clips concluded with the newborn laying on Stacey's chest on the bed as Joe kisses her forehead and the EastEnders star holding the baby in a blanket.
Stacey and Joe have been dating since 2015 and got engaged in December last year. They share a two-year-old son named Rex, while Stacey has two sons from previous relationships and Joe has one.
