Spring showers: the stylish way to rain-proof your wardrobe
It's spring. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, there's not a cloud in th-oh wait, it's raining.
Ah, great British weather. Climate change may be making our summer's disconcertingly summery, but that does not mean you should throw away your umbrella yet.
Getting caught short in a spring shower is not chic, particularly when you've left the house without a coat. No one, I repeat, no one in the office wants to be subjected to an impromptu wet t-shirt competition on a Tuesday morning.
Here at ES Magazine, we'll be keeping dry with a 90s-style bucket hat like Maison Michel's super classy navy one; a pair of khaki Dior boots that'll see us from office to Glasto; topped off with a layered Adeam trench coat, because waterproof doesn't have to mean Pac a Mac.
For more rainy day inspiration, check out our weatherproof shoot in the gallery above and, wherever you are, stay dry, kids.
