Someone related to the royals just anonymously dished on Meghan Markle's relationship with Charles
Someone find Meghan Markle and Prince Charles an old pair of jeans to share, because their friendship just reached travelling pants levels of closeness. According to veteran royal reporter Katie Nicholl, Charles spent a week with Harry and Meghan in Scotland over the summer, a private holiday that flies in the face of rumours that Charles isn't getting along with his kids.
A unnamed family member (!!!!) tells Nicholl that the Prince of Wales is "closer to Harry than ever," and that he has a "lovely relationship with the duchess." And though they haven't known each other for a super long time, the family member says that "the wedding was a real turning point. Charles showed so much love towards Harry and Meghan, and I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan’s hand in marriage. The bond between them is very close."
Meanwhile, when it comes to the recent drama surrounding Meghan's press-obsessed dad Thomas Markle, Charles couldn't be nicer: "[He] has been very supportive of Meghan and everything she is going through with her own father," the source tells Nicholl. "He’s got a real soft spot for her and thinks she’s the best thing to have happened to Harry."
