Now that the government has revealed the dates for when we could be out of lockdown and free to travel again, we can start planning our first escape – and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than by travelling solo on a walking holiday in Cornwall.

After months at home, we're more than ready to stretch our legs on a great British walking holiday and Cornwall offers all the goods when it comes to coastal paths, country trails and plenty of cultural attractions to take in along the way.

With all eyes on Cornwall this year (it's the location for the G7 Summit in June and its beaches win countless awards), now is the time to start planning a trip before they sell out.

While it's no secret destination, there's a reason why everyone loves the beauty spot: the flour-soft beaches, dramatic cliffs and exotic gardens are just a few. So, why wouldn't we want to celebrate our newfound freedom here?

That's why Country Living is bringing you its first walking holiday in Cornwall for solos, where you can join a small group and get to know the county on two feet.
