Sofia Richie spotted on a dinner date after splitting from Scott Disick
Sofia Richie was spotted on a date with a man named Matthew Morton, co-founder of Cha Cha Matcha.
Sofia and Matthew grabbed dinner together, but it is unclear whether they're exclusively dating or not.
It looks like Sofia Richie has turned into Miss Moving On, because she's out here hanging out with a brand new man, y'all! According to the Daily Mail, Sofia went on a dinner date to Nobu Malibu (do celebrities actually eat anywhere else? asking for a friend) with Matthew Morton. I know, I know - Matthew's name is probably unfamiliar, but that's because he isn't part of the typical Hollywood crowd.
Matthew is the co-founder of Cha Cha Matcha, a matcha-themed café. The Mail also says he's the son of Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton and the brother of Pink Taco founder Harry Morton, meaning that funky restaurant stuff runs in his blood. Unfortunately, his more low-key lifestyle means his IG is sadly private *sobs*.
Sofia's outing with Matthew comes after her ex Scott Disick was spotted on a date with model Bella Banos earlier this month. Sofia apparently wasn't thrilled about that. "Sofia isn’t happy that Scott was photographed out with Bella," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "They are both trying to move on and do their own things, but it’s been somewhat difficult."
Back in September, a separate source told Us Weekly that Sofia's family was encouraging her to find someone new to spend time with. "Sofia’s family think she is way better off without [Scott]," the source said. "They have been advising her to do her own thing, especially during the quarantine. She has been separating herself from the equation and it has been the healthy thing for her and her family."
We don't know if Sofia and Matthew are DATING dating, but this is the first promising guy she's been spotted with since those pics of her and Jaden Smith came out over the summer. FYI: Jaden cleared any dating rumours up during an appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest and said, "Me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years. We've been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too... we're just homies and we love each other and it was fun."
Happy to hear Sofia is exploring her options and dating other people again!
