Sofia Richie and her music executive boyfriend, Elliot Grainge just announced their engagement, and we literally can't get enough of these two. The model and media personality shared the news with her 7.2 million Instagram followers with a carousel of the most *romantic* photos, and a caption that read: "Forever isn't long enough @elliot." How. Cute.

The first post showed Elliot down on one knee, with the pair surrounded by candles and petals. Swipe right, and while there's an adorable snap of the couple sharing a kiss, it's hard not to notice the hefty diamond ring that's on display.

This relationship status update comes only a few months after it was revealed (via E! News) that the couple wanted to take the next step in their relationship. "They have talked about getting engaged and it's something that Sofia wants and is looking forward to," a source said.

And after Sofia's famous father, Lionel Richie gave his stamp of approval, it was only a matter of time before the pair took things to the next level. With a source telling E! News that "he thinks they are a perfect match and it was a very natural progression for Sofia and Elliot to get together," it was revealed that the couple have actually known each other for years due to Lionel and Elliot's father, Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge being close friends.

The famous couple first sparked dating rumours back in April 2021 after they were seen together getting takeout at Matsuhisa Beverly Hills. Only to then go Instagram official just days later.

And look how far they've come! We feel like proud parents. Congrats, guys!
