The Sodastream Sparkling Water Maker is currently on offer for £48.49 (originally £99.99, saving £50) as part of Amazon’s Prime Day deals.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again, we love a good bargain. I mean, what's not to love about making mega savings? And today, we've geared ourselves up for what we're hoping is going to be two days of unbelievable discounts for Amazon Prime Day. And to kick things off, we've discovered a cracking deal on the nation's favourite sparkling water maker, the SodaStream.

Hailed as the environmentally-friendly solution to fizzy drinks, the SodaStream allows you to create your own flavoured sparkling water at home. You can fill, refill and reuse bottles multiple times over, letting you save money and avoid single use plastic bottles. And this year, it's been reduced from £99.99 down to £48.49. That's a lush saving of over £50!

One gas cylinder makes up to 60 litres of sparkling water and will only set you back £13 when you exchange your empty cylinder for a full one (another £10 saving). Or you can purchase a fresh cylinder for £23. (You can visit SodaStream's website for information on exchanging gas cylinders).

Typically, there are two types of Amazon Prime Day deals:

  • Lightning fast deals (deals which are activated at a specific time and last until the stock of that particular product runs out completely)

  • 24/48 hour deals (deals that last for a full day, or two)

There's no calling which products will get what type of deal, so you'll have to stay on the lookout for the best price-cuts.
