Slipper socks are not only cosy, they make the perfect gift
We never thought we'd say this, but slipper socks are pretty much a wardrobe essential these days. Over the last few years we've started spending more time indoors so, naturally, we've invested in decent loungewear and started swapping our shoes for something more comfortable. Of course, we love our traditional slippers but sometimes you want something warming that you can keep on while you have your feet up on the sofa or footstool. This is when slipper socks really come into their own.
A literal hybrid between, you guessed it, socks and slippers, they keep your feet toasty, cosy and clean while you're padding around the house. They're thicker than average but lighter than slippers and typically worn from autumn until spring. Often dotted with non-slip pads or fitted with a reinforced sole, they also protect you from slipping too.
