Slimming World is a great healthy eating plan if you’re looking to lose a little weight. What it is not, is an excuse to think that eating Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with Laughing Cow spreadable cheese is a good option for pudding.

(NB: Slimming World is in no way affiliated with putting cheese on cereal).

On a Slimming World Facebook group, one of the members has shared a post about making a ‘diet cheesecake’, and it’s now the talk of the town internet.

Brought to our attention by @L3GSV, the photo shows the ingredients, followed by the finished product. There’s no recipe, so you’ll have to guess how to make it. If you are actually planning on making it, which seems unlikely…

From what we can tell though, you mix Quark, Laughing Cow spreadable cheese with Options white chocolate hot chocolate powder, then spread it over Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.

Yummy?

As a Slimming World member myself, I can attest to the fact that sometimes you end up doing slightly unusual things to get a sweet fix, but this does seem a little on the strange side. And apparently, I’m not the only one to think so.

The photos shared by @L3GSV, who included the caption, “I thought this was a joke. It’s not a joke”, have garnered a fair few comments, and I’ll warn you, they’re all pretty harsh.

“I have no swear words strong enough.”

“Ruined my morning.”

“I don’t understand people.”

“That’s horrific and no more a cheesecake than putting a Babybel on top of a Jaffa Cake.”

But, depending on your thoughts, wouldn’t a Babybel on a Jaffa Cake be a cheesebiscuit not a cheesecake?

Oh god. Let’s not get into that now, actually…
