Skier's camera captures Israel's Iron Dome intercepting missile

A skier's helmet camera has captured the moment Israel's Iron Dome missile interception system intercepting a warhead fired from Syria over the slopes of Mount Hermon.

The Israeli military has said that on Sunday it had struck an Iranian surface-to-surface missile aimed at the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

The Israel Defence Forces said they hit a number of Iranian Kurd military sites in Syria in response, including a rare daylight air raid near the Damascus International Airport in Syria on Monday.

The Israeli military said its jets struck a series of Iranian military targets in Syria, including munition storage facilities, an intelligence site, and a military training base.

Syrian state media confirmed the Israeli strikes, and the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the strikes lasted for nearly an hour and were the most intense Israeli attacks since May. It said 11 people were killed in the strikes.
