Good news, The Sinner fans. Following the success of seasons 1-3, the brilliant crime drama has just been renewed for a fourth season. The anthology series sees new actors take over the major roles every season, though Detective Harry Ambrose, played by Bill Pullman, is a show regular.
Season four has been picked up by the USA Network, and will hopefully land on Netflix a few months later, as previous seasons have done. "The Sinner has struck a chord with audiences with its signature 'whydunnit' style," USA Network President Chris McCumber told TVLine.
Jessica Biel, who starred in season one, will return as executive producer alongside Michelle Purple and Charlie Gogolak. The Sinner proved so popular, the first season was nominated for best series at the Golden Globes, while Jessica was nominated for a best actress Golden Globe and a best actress Emmy. Meanwhile, season two star Carrie Coon was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for her role as Vera Walker.
