Sigourney Weaver is chic in silk suit at Oscars afterparty
Sigourney Weaver looked chic in a sophisticated black silk suit for the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on Sunday (12 March).
The star changed into the suit following the main Academy Awards, and she paired the two piece ensemble with a blouse featuring a sheer, frothy neckline which flowed over the lapels of her jacket, adding a high-fashion finish to the look.
The outfit was a dramatic change from Sigourney's dress earlier in the evening, as she had opted for a spellbinding gold gown for the main Academy Awards ceremony.
Her floor-length dress was covered in shimmering gold sequins and she paired the look with classic Hollywood waves in her cropped hair, and a sweep of classic red lipstick.
The star walked the champagne-coloured 'red' carpet in her gold look at the Oscars awards, before taking to the stage as an award presenter alongside Zoe Saldana.
She was also spotted deep in conversation and later embracing with Jamie Lee Curtis, who took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Later in the evening, Sigourney joined the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, which took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.
The event was attended by all the main Hollywood icons, including the woman of the moment, Michelle Yeoh, who starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and took home the award for Best Actress. Her win made history as she was the first woman from an Asian background to take home the Oscar in this category.
