If you've been keeping a close eye on the Netflix number one top spot (it's one of my favourite past times, I can't lie), you would have realised that since its release just a few days ago, the new drama mini-series, Anatomy of a Scandal, has been hogging first place. And if my recommendation is anything to go by (I do have amazing taste, even if I do say so myself), then it's a great, easy, and quick watch – only six episodes to binge! Oh, and the message is very important.
Of course, with any new TV show or series, there comes a red carpet premiere and this time was no exception. But before we delve in, I have to say, unlike The Kardashians debut a few weeks ago, it wasn't as OTT, unfortunately.
However, the leading lady of the show (not the best friend *cue incredibly niche The Holiday reference*), Sienna Miller, stood alongside costars Naomi Scott, Michelle Dockery, and Rupert Friend, who all looked ever so dapper. But we must mention that Sienna really did stand out amongst them all and for all the right reasons. Just take a look at that beautiful beehive updo.
To give credit where credit is due, celebrity hairstylist Earl Simms was the genius behind this stunning hair look and makeup artist Gina Kane worked the gorgeous face glam. Sharing his work on Instagram, Earl said that to keep the updo in place, he used the Happy Endings Nourishing Balm, £24 and the Easy-Up Do Texture Spray, £25, both by Sam McKnight.
And can we just take a 'mo to admire the hive from all angles – it's integral to fully appreciate the look. Sienna is giving us her 3/4 profile below:
Giving the hair a more casual off-duty vibe are those face-framing front strands of hair which we've been seeing a lot of lately! I suppose it's the key to any 'no effort, but a lot of effort went into this' look.
Yet another inspo look to add to that spring/summer '22 hairstyle mood board of ours. Or maybe we'll save the beehive for a special occasion. Red carpet premiere, anyone?
