Sheridan Smith reveals the name of her baby boy
Sheridan Smith has finally confirmed the name of her baby boy, weeks after giving birth.
The Gavin And Stacey star welcomed a son – her first child – in May but until now his name has not been widely known.
But she has now posted a picture on Instagram of a cake decorated with the name “Billy” and a baby made of icing.

In the caption, Smith also appears to reveal that she has made a documentary about becoming a mother.
She wrote: “Beautiful cake yesterday made for the little man by lovely Cat and @britruevis at @truevisiontv headquarters.
“We finished our documentary for @itv, can’t wait for you guys to see it!
“Been an emotional rollercoaster but worth every second! #becomingmum.”
Fans posted messages on Instagram praising Smith’s choice, with many saying Billy was “a great name”.
“Love his name!” gushed one fan, while another said it was “strong”.
Smith and her fiancé Jamie Horn welcomed Billy early in May but did not give fans a peek at him until the end of June, when the actress turned 39.
Sharing a sweet snap showing her cradling her son on her chest, Smith told her Instagram followers: “Best birthday present I could’ve asked for!”

Smith is thought to have started dating Horn in 2018 after they both swiped right for each other on the Tinder dating app.
A source close to the couple previously told The Sun: "Sheridan is head over heels in love.
“Jamie is very serious about her."
