One of spring’s biggest trends was embraced on red carpets in the days ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday in Las Vegas: sheer dresses.

The style statement was also abundant at this year’s Primetime Emmys and Grammys red carpets.

Ahead, WWD is breaking down some of the sheer looks from the 2024 Super Bowl parties.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, attended the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party in Las Vegas on Saturday wearing a sheer minidress by Oscar de la Renta and bag from Yuzefi. The star’s long-sleeved look featured a transparent base with silver sequins in a scale pattern.

Ice Spice

Ice Spice arrived at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party in Las Vegas on Saturday wearing a sheer mesh turtleneck and a matching pair of sheer leggings from Marine Serre. Her coordinating set was emblazoned with the French brand’s trademark moon print pattern.

Gracie Hunt

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Clark Hunt, co-owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, walked the red caret at the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party in Las Vegas on Saturday in a sheer, bedazzled Sherri Hill minidress featuring cutouts, corsetry and a skirt layered with diamante fringe.

Gabrielle Union attended The One Party by Uber in Las Vegas on Saturday in a sheer black dress and a pair of knee-high boots. Her dress, designed with a sparkling solid black upper panel, was paired with minimal jewelry.
