Sharon Stone said a surgeon increased her breast size during a routine operation without her consent.

The 63-year-old made the revelation during an interview with British newspaper The Times, as she revealed that the medical professional made the decision to increase her cup size while she was undergoing a procedure to remove benign tumours in 2001.

"When I was unbandaged, I discovered that I had a full cup-size bigger breasts, ones that he said 'go better with your hip size'. He had changed my body without my knowledge or consent," Sharon explained, noting that the surgeon had tried to persuade her before the op that she would "look better with bigger, better boobs".

The Basic Instinct star was forced to undergo reconstructive surgery on her breasts after the removal of tumours, which she said were “gigantic, bigger than my breast alone”.

Elsewhere in the interview, she discussed how she has dealt with being treated differently because of her good looks – “there is a prejudice against real beauty" – and revealed that she's dabbled in the world of online dating.

“I don’t know if I’m a person who’s going to get to have a relationship in my life, but I hope that I am," Sharon shared, adding that the dating app Bumble blocked her account because they assumed she was a fake account.

She said online dating was a “a cool learning experience", especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I’s a freedom. There’s a special kind of intimacy, a nice way to talk. I learnt a little bit more about how men think, and how they really are, and how their intimate selves work," she explained.
