Shannan Click was photographed twice for the 2011 SI Swimsuit Issue, and she absolutely nailed both features. She posed for photographer Steve Erle in a series of stunning, bright bikinis in Sentosa Island, Singapore, and double-dipped for another in-studio bodypainting session with artist Joanne Gair. She donned a sweet multicolored floral two-piece and was photographed by Stewart Shining in New York City.
The San Dimas, Calif., native was scouted in Huntington Beach and moved to Europe at the age of 18 to pursue a full-time career in the industry. She appeared in several global Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Allure and Glamour issues, but is perhaps best known for her four-year stint as a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show star.
The 41-year-old has been featured in campaigns for major brands including Gap, Levi’s, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry and more. Today, Click maintains her passion for art and shares two kids, Sage and Cypress, with her husband, actor Jack Huston.
“The best part is your world opens up. You’re around all of these creative people. [And] I love the traveling, it’s a little exhausting, but going and seeing new places and learning the cultures [is] fascinating” she shared of modeling, and added that while it’s super rewarding, it does require focus and dedication. “It’s hard work. It’s not just about being beautiful, it’s about collaborating with everybody and knowing it’s a team. It takes a lot of energy and a lot of work.”
