A registered sex offender with surgically implanted horns in his head has been arrested on suspicion of trying to lure a 17-year-old girl into his home.

Arturo Martinez, 42, is accused of pestering the teenager, along with other women, on social media to come into his property in Hesperia, California.

Police said he used a fake name and disguised his voice to make himself sound like a woman.

He is also accused of contacting babysitting, cleaning, taxi, estate agents and delivery services in an effort to lure women.

They served a search warrant and arrested Martinez at his home.

Police said Martinez is a registered sex offender with a conviction for indecent exposure.

They believe there may be more women he tried to lure to his home and have asked anyone with information to contact them.
