Sex and the City’s costume designer Patricia Field has just thrown a bit of shade at Cynthia Nixon for her fashion choices on the iconic show.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Patricia was asked about what she thought of the styling on the SATC reboot And Just Like That, which is being led by her former assistant Molly Rogers.

Patricia said: "I like some of it, I don’t like all of it, but I know what she’s dealing with."

When probed on what she meant, Patricia continued, "I know those gals! Sarah Jessica [Parker] thinks she knows everything - and she does. Cynthia Nixon thinks she knows everything - and she doesn’t! Even today, when I speak with Molly, it's about Cynthia. I say, 'I remember what you are going through.'" Ouch.

But (after some serious Instagram digging) Patricia’s shade doesn’t seem to go too deep. In 2020, she wished Cynthia a happy birthday and posted a major throwback photo to the SATC days. In the snap, she appears to be smiling happily at Nixon, so (fingers crossed) the two just have a slight contrast of opinion when it comes to fashion.

And while Patricia may be digging at some of the outfit choices in And Just Like That, the 79-year-old stylist probably doesn’t have much time to dwell.

She’s currently working on season 2 of the Netflix show Emily In Paris (one more day!) and *literally* living the Parisian dream. We can’t wait - and we can’t stress this enough - to see all of the looks Ms. Cooper and the rest of the cast serve.
