New Selling Sunset cast member has opened up about her nerves in the lead up to the release of the fourth season of the show, saying that the other girls have warned her about bullies and how to cope.

Although the fourth and fifth season of the hit Netflix real estate show has been confirmed by the streamer, we have yet to get an official release date despite the fact it's been well over a year the third season hit screens. However, what we do have is a new cast member.

30-year-old model turned realtor Emma Hernan has worked at The Oppenheim Group for some time, but will only join as a leading cast member as of the fourth season. However, this does mean that she's witnessed firsthand the difficult experiences other cast members have as a result of online abuse.

"I think it's really difficult in general for any person to kind of see negative criticism come at you," Emma told People. "But of course, as a woman, even more so. I've seen a lot of the girls struggle with the feedback and criticism they've gotten."

She continued, "They've warned me, and they're super protective of me, which I love. They're like, 'Don't read the comments. They might not always be the best.'"

She also added that the upcoming fourth season is going to be the juiciest one yet, saying, "I definitely think between the real estate, the drama and everything else, this will probably be your favourite season. It won't disappoint. I promise."

We can't wait!
